{"id":33937,"date":"2025-06-06T16:35:38","date_gmt":"2025-06-06T14:35:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/impression.nl\/?post_type=kennisbank&#038;p=33937"},"modified":"2025-06-06T16:35:40","modified_gmt":"2025-06-06T14:35:40","slug":"when-does-impression-perform-backups","status":"publish","type":"kennisbank","link":"https:\/\/impression.nl\/en\/kennisbank\/wanneer-voert-impression-backups-uit\/","title":{"rendered":"When does Impression perform backups?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Backup schedule of Impression<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When does Impression perform backups?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Impression has a scheduled backup process that takes place around 2:00 a.m. daily.<br>Websites whose domain name starts with the letter A are backed up first, while websites starting with the letter Z are last.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Details of the backup process:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>- One backup is made each night, resulting in a total of eight consecutive backups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>- After the ninth day, the oldest backup is deleted to make way for a new one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>- In addition to daily backups, we also store backups that are 14 days, 3 weeks and 5 months old. This makes it possible to restore a backup six months old in some cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note: Restoring backups yourself is not possible.
