National Rare Blood Disease Day

Registering for the open day, without Excel and emails back and forth
Blood disease day
The story

What the customer wanted, and what we did.

Every year, patients, family members, healthcare professionals and volunteers come together at the National Rare Blood Disorders Day. For the Stichting Zeldzame Bloedziekten Foundation, we built a registration system that fits exactly how that day works.

Visitors should be able to sign up easily and choose their own program. The organization wants to know at any time how many people are coming, which workshops are full, and who is on the waiting list. Without having to keep lists in Excel.

Each visitor registers as an adult, child, care professional or volunteer and is only given the questions that suit them. After that, you choose the morning program and up to two workshops in the afternoon. If a workshop is full, you will automatically be put on the waiting list.

The confirmation email includes a personal link that allows you to customize your registration without having to email the organization.

The organization has one overview of all registrations. Approving, changing, printing name badges, and exporting for the day itself: it all fits in there. The system runs as its own plugin on the foundation’s existing website.
