Our customer receives files from his own customers every day. The old way of uploading via SFTP was about to disappear. We built a custom upload portal that works just as easily as sending a file, but is much safer.
Files must be encrypted so that only the recipient can open them. We as administrators can’t access them either. And every submission must be traceable afterwards, for audits and ISO 27001 compliance.
A file is already encrypted in the sender's browser before it is sent. Therefore, there is never a readable version on the server. Only the recipient can open it.
Logging in always involves two-step verification. Each file is scanned for viruses and every action is logged. Through a return channel, files can also be safely returned to the sender.
The portal is built in Laravel and runs on our own servers in the EU. We keep it secure and up-to-date, with fixed SLAs for availability and response time.
