What is incognito mode in Chrome?

1. Open Chrome on your computer.
2. Click on More at the top right   New incognito window.
3. A new window opens. Check for the incognito icon  is displayed in the top corner.

You can also use a hotkey to open an incognito window:

• Windows, Linux or Chrome OS: press Ctrl + Shift + n.
• Mac: press ⌘ + Shift + n.

You can switch between incognito windows and regular Chrome windows. You browse privately only when using an incognito window.
